Sculpture artists from England, Indonesia, Belgium, Holland, Russia, Ireland, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Japan, France and Greece, built towering figures some of them higher than 8 meters tall and using around 2,500 tons a special resistant to rain sand. Opened by the city Mayor Dimitar Nikolov the event named "Walk of Fame". Bulgaria witnessed its first sand fest in July 2008 in the city of Burgas.
