Alcaniz Castle is one of the most complex of Aragon, for their joint organization of convent-castle, its dimensions and grades mix of architectural styles presented. Located on a hill, from which dominates the town, the site of the fortress has a trapezoidal collecting heterogeneous group. This is clearly differentiated into two zones: the North, where the medieval buildings are crowded, and the South, with the baroque palace of the Commanders of strong civil structure.
