A small silver tray from the table silver, dated 1840, the Tsar's court jeweller, Nichols & Plinke, St. Petersburg Silver with a scalloped leafy rim, bearing the engraved monogram "ON" under the Russian crown in the centre. The back displays the stamped mark "N & P" for Nichols & Plinke, the work master's mark "" (Henrik August Long), St. Petersburg hallmarks for "84" zolotniki, and an inspection mark for Dmitry Ilich Tverskoi "1840". 22 x cm.
