It is for removinga broken tap from a hole and it is espe-cially valuable when the tap happens10 break off below the surface of thepiece which is being tapped. To usethis tool the end is pushed into thetapped hole, the three fingers of the littletap extractor slide forward into theKrooves of the tap by means of the out-er ciillar, the sleeve is then slid downclose to the work and the tap screwedout by means of a wrench set on thesquared outer end of the tool.
