The private quarters of John Ringing in Ca d'Zan, his Venetian-style palazzo on Sarasota Bay in Florida. Built in the 1930s, the style is mock baroque, reminiscent of the Gilded Age of the 1890s. Ringing, a circus impresario, had ornate taste, reflected in these baroque-style twin beds with carved and gilded rosewood sleigh bed surrounds and pink and gold satin covers. The house is part of the Ringling Museum in Sarasota Florida.
