It is 36 inches high, 56 inches broad,and 8 inches thick. X2 lies against the 4th and 5th stones of theouter row and on the ground. It is 44 inches long, 44 inches broad,5 inches thick. X3 is lying flat on the ground. It is 69 inches by44 inches by 5 inches. 25. Monee Stone.—This stone is in a field (on Mr T. Curtinsfarm) at Monee Cross Roads. The stone is grayish in dimensions are :—5 feet 8 inches in height, 2 feet 5 inches inbreadth, 2 feet 1 inch in thickness. The land slopes away downfrom this stone westwards. Parish of Grenagh 26. Glancam Dolmen.—The main road from Cork to Mallowpasses over Glancam Bridge about one mile from Rathduff RailwayStation. At the Mallow side of this bridge, there is a boilhrin turning RUDE STONE MONUMENTS IN CORK 69 off to the right. In the field where this boithrin ends (and at adistance of about one mile from the main road) is a dolmen partiallyembedded in an accumulation of stones, earth, grass, &c. The topof the capstone is level with this accumulation, and, therefore, it isimpossible without implements to uncover the upright stones. Theinterior of the monument is filled up with rubbish. The capstoneis 84 inches in length,
