FORT DRUM, – New York Army National Guard cannon crewmembers from Battery A, 1st Battalion, 258th Artillery Regiment based out of New Windsor, New York, eject a spent round after firing a M119 howitzer while conducting gunnery training at Fort Drum, NY July 17 in preparation for its rotation at the Joint Readiness Training Center at Fort Polk, Louisiana scheduled for summer 2016. The 1-258, part of the 27th IBCT, is currently participating in an Exportable Combat Training Capability (XCTC) exercise ( Army National Guard Photo by Spc. Alexander Rector/released).
