Sometimes such a colony will I'efuse to raise queen cells : it may be too weak ; its queen may be too old to lay, or they may have a fertile worker. If it be too weak, it should be united with another colony. If its queen be old, she should be removed and the bees given a frame of brood from a pros- perous colony.
