The treatment is the same asrecommended for hardy Nymphaeas, excepting that they do bestwhen planted in mud or soil that is at least two feet deep andcovered only with six inches of water. When planted withother aquatics there should be partitions of brick or boards, so asto confine the tubers, otherwise they will soon take possession ofthe entire pond. In planting, place the tubers horizontally inthe mud, so that the point will be merely covered. They are.
