Pelvis and Upper Legs with Arteriosclerosis
This color enhanced frontal view from a CT angiogram of the pelvis and upper legs shows atherosclerotic changes of the vessels (in blue) without significant narrowing. This technique uses spiral CT technique in conjunction with a rapid bolus injection of intravenous contrast. This technique allows visualization of the background anatomy for reference in addition to the blood vessels. The kidneys are yellow.
