Gubbio Italian province of Perugia (Umbria) located on the first slope of Mt. Ingino, a small mountain of the Apennines. Lago del Vescovado where a simple 16th Century fountain called ‘the fountain of the madmen’ stands with the symbolic five hills of Gubbio on top. Around this fountain you must run three times, some accounts say that you must have your elbow in the water all the while and hopefully being splashed while you go. You are now officially a madman of Gubbio
