By selecting varieties maturing in succession (and it is easy to pick them out from the following pages because they are listed in about the same order as they reach full size), a constant supply of delicious peas may be had from early in June until middle of August. Experience has proven that sowings made after middle of May are not as successful as the earlier ones because hot midsummer heat is apt to cut short both vines and pods.
