Woodward, , withmyself as secretary, to excavate some caves at Tremeirchion, verynear the caves of Efynnon Beuno and Cae Gwyn. These last wereexcavated by Dr. Hicks and Mr. E. B. Luxmore, and during part ofthe time by a committee appointed by the British Association in theyears ] 883 to 1888,^ and it was hoped that the contents of the newcaves might throw some additional light on the discoveries madethere.
