Vietnamese farmer and buffalo ploughing the hills of North Vietnam.

These farmers were photographed not far from the road between Phu Yen and Son La in the hills of North West of Vietnam. Belonging to a local hill tribe, the Black Thai, these farmers still use traditional farming methods of ploughing the land using a buffalo drawn plough. The woman followed behind and sowed the seeds in the freshly ploughed land.
