Arizona National Guardsmen and women move and organize boxes of groceries and produce to be distributed to local citizens at a food bank in Phoenix, April 1, 2021. Arizona’s Citizen-Soldiers and Airmen have responded domestically in such emergencies as 9/11, Monument Fire in 2011, Hurricane Harvey in 2017, and the Havasupai Floods in 2018. The AZNG continues supporting communities in food banks and vaccination sites throughout the state during this COVID-19 emergency response.
