Playground in the rain, Caleta Tortel, Patagonia, Chile

Tortel is one of the most remote towns in Southern Chile and is distinctive for being road free, due to its steep hills and dense vegetation. 15 kilometres of boardwalks link the towns houses and waterfront. Boats to Glacier Jorge Montt leave from the town. When it rains almost constantly and there is little or no flat ground, where do the children play? Here is one answer, a playground constructed of wood, painted in a few bright colours, built on a wooden platform next to a steep cliff by the main boardwalk along the shore.
