A matchlock musket, Suhl, early 17th century. Octagonal barrel, becoming round after a baluster, in 19 mm calibre, marked with "Suhl" and "IS" three stars on the chamber. Pan on the right side with a flash-guard and pan cover (somewhat bent). Rounded lockplate. Dark full stock with restrained line decoration and iron furniture. Metal surfaces with patina. Butt stock with a few worm holes and minor retouching.
