The platformsare of sufficient length to permit of two trains standing oneach side, thus allowing of convenient storage. At this. The accompanying engraving (Fig. 21) showsthe building in course of construction, and the yard out-side, which will be laid with tracks, accommodating 150 motor cars and trailers for the present. The first orderfor motor cars called for forty-six, and at the time of start-ing the road there were twenty-two delivered, twelve beingfurnished with controllers at each end, so that they maybe run in either direction, and ten having a single con-troller. The single-controller cars are intended for useon those sections of the road where loops are used at theterminal stations, as there is then no necessity to provide
