Chaplains Rollins and O'Connor are seen in this image reading at the burial services of Lieutenant John Flenniken. Lieutenant Flenniken was the first American officer killed in Vailly, France. This photograph was taken in February 1918 by the Signal Corps and censored before being released in April 1918.
