Others who took part in the programme were: W. H. Hanchett, Sparta; A. J. Bush, Henry Hussey, Minneiska; A. J. Phillips, West Salem, Wis., and A. G. Wilson, superintendent of farmers' institute, St. Anthony Park. J. M. Underwood of Lake City pre- sided at the Plant Breeders' Auxiliary session, in which the following partici- pated: Clarence Wedge, Albert Lea, Charles Haralson, Excelsior; F. H. Boardman, E. P. Peabody, Excelsior; Leroy Cady, St. Anthony Park; Chas. G. Patten, Charles City, Iowa. A lan- tern address was delivered by W. M. Hays, assistant secretary of the De- partment of Agriculture. The Minnesota State Forestry Asso- ciation, the Minnesota Rose Society, the Plant Breeders' Auxiliary, the State Florists' Society and the Minne- sota State Beekeepers' Society, all auxiliaries, all met with the horticul- tural society.
