Mongolia: Delbeg Khan, Mongol Khagan of the Northern Yuan Dynasty (), 20th century. Delbeg Khan (1396-1415) was born in 1395, the blue pig year, and in 1411, the yellow rat year, installed onto the Mongol throne by the Oirats as a puppet ruler. His rulership was not recognised by most of the Mongol clans in the central and eastern territories however, who bowed to Arughtai as their khan. Delbeg's army was defeated by the invading Ming in 1415, though it was a pyrrhic victory which forced the Chinese to retreat back to their own lands. He died in battle the same year.
