This new bean is called Lima Wax on account of its bright glossy foliage, and its 1 )loom, which resem bles the Dwarf Lima. The plants are branching and vigor- ous, with an immense amount of foliage. The pods are borne in the great- est profusion. They require thin planting on very ricl: soil, and will cjme true without sporting. The pods are the broadest of all Wax Bush Beans; color trans- parent, glossy lemon wax, having the yellow wax}' ap- pearance very soon after they are formed. In quality they are very tender and juicy with a delicate flavor. An excellent variety for family use as well as for market, and being white seeded is a good baking bean, and retains its rich color and delicious flavor when canned.
