A new semi-double form of AnemoneJaponica Alba, which is supposed to be a cross between thisbeautiful variety and A. Japonica Rosea. In general style andhabit it is identical with the white anemone ; of the same stronghabit of growth, and is even more free-flowering than the orig-inal type. The flowers, which are 21* to 3 inches aoross, have sev-eral rows of pure white petals, and have the advantage of lastingmuch longer than the single New Fringed Mammoth Hollyhock Allegheny.
