Flying Scotman locomotive leaving Goathland station under full steam on the North Yorkshire Moors Heritage Railway (NYMR)
LNER Class A3 60103 Flying Scotsman locomotive was originally built in Doncasetr works in 1923 as an A1 Class. It actually shares its name with the train which ran from London to Edinburgh. Over the years it has has seen a number of adaptations, several changes of number and several different colour schemes. This picture captures it on a damp morning in March 2016 whilst running on the North York Moors Heritage Railway.
