Three crucifixes stand on a hill overlooking the town of Redditch in Worcestershire. Every Easter, landowner Jon Richards puts them in place to mark Holy Week. This year all church services have been cancelled due to Coronavirus, but the Reverend Kate Mier, vicar for the area, said she hoped that “seeing the crosses as they drive past will lift the spirits of those dedicated key workers making essential journeys at this time. Although we cannot gather physically for worship this Easter Day, we and many other churches are offering worship resources for people to use in their own homes, and live-streaming daily worship on Facebook.
