A decade has passed, and as I enter this new year, 1899, I feel that I must express myself and thank you one and all for your kindness in patronizing me in the past and hope you will continue to do the same in the future. I shall as heretofore do my best to deserve it. My first aim is to have the best Stock and then to offer it at as low prices as I possibly can. This catalogue will reach many with whom I have never had any dealings with before. To these I wish to say; I hope we may become friends and that your name will be added to my customer list. My aim is-Once a customer, always a customer. My best customers are those who know me best and from others I only ask the courtesy ot a trial-order. Perhaps you may be disappointed in not finding in this catalogue some varieties that are large- ly "boomed" by other Seedsmen. When omitted, there is areason for it. Is it not cheaper to be disappointed now in not finding what you were looking for, than at not finding the crop looked for at harvest time? I have all the good, standard varieties in stock, no other. Please read my catalogue carefully, as it may avoid the necessity of your writing me ques- tions, which are already herein answered. I am always ready to answer all inquiries, but -as my mail is heavy and my time usually fully occupied, I hope you will bear this fact in mind.
