1746 A satirical poster and poem regarding the Jacobite Rebellion showing severed heads on poles include those of Francis Townley /Towneley and George Fletcher. They were both members of the Manchester Regiment which was a Jacobite unit fighting for the Stuarts to be returned to the were executed at Kennington Common on July 30th , and their severed heads displayed on Temple Bar , London on August 2nd 1746'
