A large collection of German seals, 15th - 19th century 54 seals made of brass or steel, one with a silver matrix. The collection comprises: 29 seals of private persons, predominantly with a finely carved coat of arms, among them three seals with elaborate double coat of arms and two reversible seals of polished steel. Five craftsmen's seals with trade symbols, one of them, a blacksmith's or cattle dealer's seal, with removable hoof picks integrated into the handle.
