He has been identified withthe work of Messrs. Humphreys & Glasgow,since their establishment in 1892. In 1894 hewas permanently installed in the Londonoffice as manager of the construction depart-. F. Thdman ment and principal assistant to Mr. now holds the position of chief engineer,and manager of the London office. He hasdeveloped several important patents in con-nection with the manufacture of carburettedwater-gas; these have been assigned toMessrs. Humphreys & Glasgow. He is a lifemember of the American Society of Me-chanical Engineers, and a member of theStevens Alumni Association of America andEurope; the Rho chapter of the Delta TauDelta fraternity; and of the Whitehall Cluband the American Society of London. Tiemann, Harry Donald (, 97), wasborn in Brooklyn, N. Y., March 26, 1875;son of J. H. and M. A. Tiemann. His great-uncle, Daniel F. Tiemann, was mayor ofNew York.
