Plantings made at in- tervals of two to three weeks beginning in early April and continued until early July should flower from the latter part of June until frost. Good fertilizers in- clude cow and sheep manures. Apply two to three times as a side dressing during the growing season before flowering. Fertilizers should not come in contact with corms or foliage. Watering during dry seasons will give amazing results. Our stock is Michigan grown, disease and thrip free. Early 70-80 days. Midseason—85-90 days. Late—100 days or more. BAGDAD. A large flowering and hand- some "smoky" of recent introduction. The color is old rose, and the variety rates very high in size, form, color and vigorous growth habits.
