Recruits of Golf Company, 2nd Recruit Training Battalion, conduct log drills during a physical training session at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, Feb. 23. Each exercise helped recruits develop cardiovascular endurance and prepare for future physical endeavors. During the same week of training, week three, recruits also take their initial combat fitness test, and they will take their final CFT during week nine. Annually, more than 17,000 males recruited from the Western Recruiting Region are trained at MCRD San Diego. Golf Company is scheduled to graduate April 29.
