Athens, Greece - June 1999; Built around 400 BCE on top of the Acropolis, the Parthenon is the most important surviving building of Classical Greece. This is Erechtheion, an ancient side temple on the north side of the Acropolis of Athens in Greece, dedicated to both Athena and Poseidon. And these are the famous caryatids, sculpted female figures serving as an architectural support, taking the place of a column or a pillar.
