Bala Lake Railway, 'Holy War' engine with crew in background taking a break

'Holy War' steam engine on the Bala Lake narrow guage railway in Gwynedd, North Wales, UK, at Llanuwchllyn Station. The engine was built at the Hunslet Works in Leeds (no 779) in 1902 and worked at the Dinorwic Slate Quarry, Llanberis, North Wales, for 120 years. Since 1979 she has been used to haul carriages on the Bala Lake Railway. Here she is seen with the volunteer crew of the Bala Lake Railway taking a well earned break.
