The plants of this new hybrid are of robust, compact growth, and produce their exqui- sitely formed and very double flowers in the greatest profusion ; they vary in color from pure white to dnrk red, and contrast beautifully with the dark green ; often metallic and dark red foliage, and while it is as a summer bedding plant that they will be ;;t useful, they make fine pot plants for the window or conservatory, flowering continuously.
