The well-preserved time-warped rural mountain medieval village of ‘Tenno’, with a privately owned castle of medieval origin in the surrounding mountains high above the town of Riva on the shore of Lake Garda in the Trentino-Alto Adige Region of northern Italy. Tenno has survived almost intact in its medieval structure to the present day for its characteristic Italian architecture made of "faces" barrel, underpasses, narrow alleys and overhanging balconies.
