2019 Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale Auction, Tesla Model 3
Every year, just before the Super Bowl and the Phoenix Open, Barrett-Jackson stages a huge auto auction at Westworld in Scottsdale, Arizona. Since it had been a few years since my previous visit, I ventured to Westworld, camera in hand. Next up is Tesla Model 3, which comes with the option of dual-motor all-wheel drive, 20” Performance Wheels, and Brakes and lowered suspension for total control, in all weather conditions. And a carbon fiber spoiler improves stability at high speeds, all allowing Model 3 to accelerate from 0-60 mph in as little as seconds. My little buddy, Johnny, loves Teslas — on the way to school and back home he is always on the lookout for them. He keeps asking why I haven't bought one yet.
