Ogilvie was a Catholic priest martyred in Scotland in 1615 during the Catholic Reformation. The illustration is taken from the 'Societas Jesu usque ad sanguinis et vitae profusionem militans', 'A history of the lives and deaths of those Jesuits who suffered martyrdom for the faith' by Mathias Tanner, published in 1675.
