EOG PLA\T (Black Pekin). The fruit of this handsome variety is jet black, round in form and very solid; it is quite early and a very superior variety. Its enormous product- iveness is enough to place it in advance of any sort now grown always yield- ing two, and fre- quently three ears to the stalk. In qual- ity it is most deli- cious and has no equal, being of a rich golden yellow, and so showy as to attract much attention wherever seen.
