Ellis, pastor of the First Pres-byterian Church, Gastonia, N. C, has re-signed his work there to accept the call tobecome Regional Director of Religious Ed-ucation of the Synod of Appalachia. Mr. Ellis, who has been at Gastonia since1940 as pastor, and previously for twoyears as Assistant Pastor and Director ofReligious Education, will begin his newwork in January.
