Long. 36 ; lat. 30; diam. 10 mill.' Hob.—In iliimine Fuh-chan, Cliinae. Collect. Prime. In outline the shell is trigonal, trans- versely oval, inequilateral. The ante- rior side is rounded and the posterior side is longer, more produced and ab- rupt. The valves are light; the cavity of the shell is not very deep, and the color of the interior varies from white to violet, The teeth offer no distinctive characters ; the lateral teeth are often violet. The beaks are somewhat full, they are considerably raised above the outline of the margin and they are approximate. The sulci are regular, close, raised, and sharp.
