Kristina M. Seitz holds and shows off Armando Santigo, a three-banded armadillo, at the 17th annual Kids First Fair hosted by the Children, Youth and Teen Programs at the Paige Fieldhouse parking lot on Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton April 28. The three-banded armadillo is on the decline because of habitat destruction and for human purpose such as food, according to Seitz, an educator at the San Diego Zoo.
