Shoulder tendon injury. Labelled artwork of a lateral (side) view of a severe injury to the tendons forming part of the rotator cuff of the right shoulder. This is a full-thickness tear of the supraspinatus tendon and an anterior tear of the glenoid labrum (shoulder socket rim) and a grade III tear to the acromion tendons. Three of the shoulder muscles are labelled, the infraspinatus, the supraspinatus, and the teres minor. The humerus (upper arm bone) is also labelled, and the socket (blue) is highlighted.
