ABANDONED & REJECTED - CHRIST UNCRUCIFIED - BROUGHAM HALL, Penrith, Cumbria, England. -------- During restoration in 2017. this religious Christian figure of Jesus Christ (without the cross) was at that time stood against a wall in an unrestored area of the building. Built and added to over a long period from the 13th century . It was rescued from dereliction in 1985 and is now one of the largest country house restoration projects . The Hall was purchased, by Christopher Terry, in 1985 and transferred, by him, for the price of one peppercorn in 1986 to the Brougham Hall Charitable Trust
