MECONOPSIS BAILEYII (One of the Finest Introductions of Recent Years) This beautiful blue perennial Poppy, brought over from Tibet by Catptain Kingdon Ward, throws up from its root-stock half a dozen leafy stems 2 to 3 feet high, well furnished with broad sea-green leaves and bearing freely at their heads large four-petalled blooms of a glorious sky-blue color, the effect of which is enhanced by a central zone of golden yellow anthers. This superb plant has been accorded by the Royal Horticultural Society a First Class Certificate and an Award of Merit. It is hardy, and should soon become one of the most popular plants in cultivation. Pkt, 35c.
