The Museum of Fine Arts in Deoksugung Palace is one of the two modern buildings in the Deoksugung Palace. It was built in 1938 as a museum to include all the articles of the museum in Chang-gyeong-gung Palace (Chang-gyeong-gung was built by King Sejong in the 15th century for his father Taejong).
