Close-up shot of flowers of Wild Angelica / Angelica sylvestris growing in marshy ground. Medicinal plant once used for herbal remedies & folk cures.
This wild version of the Angelica grown in gardens is to be found in wet and moist ground - often close to or in marshes, river waters and drainage ditches. Where the plant grows in a very sunny habitat the specimens often have a claret-coloured flush to them.
