The Fleet is a stretch of brackish water which starts at Abbotsbury and finally enters Portland Harbour beneath Ferrybridge, on the Isle of Portland. The RSPB reserve provides nesting and over-wintering for Canada geese and other coastal birds. At its northernmost end can be found the Abbotsbury Swannery, home to a large colony of mute swans.
