A Navy F/A-18C Hornet aircraft from Strike Fighter Squadron 146 launches from the flight deck of the aircraft carrier USS John C. Stennis (CVN 74) while the ship is underway in the Pacific Ocean on March 28, 2009. The Stennis and Carrier Air Wing 9 are on a six-month deployment to the western Pacific Ocean.
