Gardens of The Orchard at Grantchester

The Orchard is a famous tea garden which is popular with both residents and visitors to Cambridge. In 1909 Rupert Brooke lodged at Orchard House and his large circle of friends including Bertrand Russell, Virginia Woolf and Augustus John became regular visitors. The Orchard is open year round and also plays host to open-air theatre and lectures.
