The ground is subtly mottled by a faint and in-tricate design of scrolling foliations in variants of the body-color, all blending in the old-gold impression, while in strongcontrast is a large quadrilateral medallion in pale blue, whiteand dark blue, enclosing a small round medallion of similarexecution, the designs of these also being foliate scrolls.
